Description

The Festool Chamfer Adaptor FNS-HLC 82 adds controlled chamfering capability to the HLC 82 cordless planer, allowing you to break edges consistently without switching tools. It mounts directly to the planer and provides a stable reference surface that keeps chamfers even and predictable across long edges and repeated passes.
By widening the contact area at the front of the planer, the adaptor improves stability at the start and end of each cut. This reduces the tendency to tip or dig in, especially on narrow stock or door edges, and helps maintain a uniform chamfer depth from end to end. The result is cleaner transitions and less corrective sanding after planing.
Designed specifically for the Festool HLC 82, the adaptor installs quickly using the planer’s integrated mounting points. Once attached, it stays rigidly aligned during operation, making it well suited for trimming doors, chamfering beams, and finishing visible edges where consistency matters.
