Nordic Pro 1400 Woodworking Bench

The Sjöbergs Nordic Pro 1400 Woodworking Bench is built for woodworkers who demand serious holding power in a compact footprint. Made in Sweden from European Beech, this bench combines mass, rigidity and flexible vise placement to support precise handwork and controlled clamping in smaller shops.

Four parallel rows of 3/4" dog holes run the full length of the top, allowing consistent pressure across long or irregular workpieces. Dual vises can be configured for left- or right-handed use, mounted at either end or positioned for dual front clamping, removing the need to work around fixed hardware. The trestle base adds stiffness while extending dog hole capacity beyond the top, expanding clamping options without increasing bench size.

The Beech worktop balances thickness and mass to resist vibration while keeping the bench manageable in tight spaces. A thick skirt increases edge strength for face clamping and planing operations. Optional storage and accessories can be added to tailor the bench to changing workflows without permanent modification.
