Rechargeable Desiccant Bag

Woodworking tools rust – some faster than others, especially when stored out of sight – but now you can reduce the rust with the WoodRiver® Desiccant Bag. It is packed with 400 grams of Silica Gel Crystals capable of absorbing up to 35% of their weight in moisture. Placed in a drawer, cabinet or closet, the bag immediately begins to absorb moisture from the air, which reduces corrosion. Now you can store tools without worrying about the potential corrosion damage from ambient moisture.
The WoodRiver Desiccant Bag will eventually need to be recharged. When the window on the bag turns from blue to pink, the bag is full of moisture. Simply place the bag in a 600-watt microwave oven for 6 minutes to recharge it. Allow to cool before reusing. You should check the bag’s window every week or two, because the amount of moisture in the air will determine when it needs recharged.
