The WoodRiver® Router Table Coping Sled is one of the safest ways to hold narrow material when routing end grain such as rail ends or drawer fronts on the router table. The sled base is made out of 6 mm anodized aluminum plate to prevent warping and flexing. The workpiece is held captive with a toggle clamp against a sacrificial fence. A clear 17"-long fence guide tracks along router table fence rather than a miter slot. The fence guide has four positions to correctly space the coping sled away from the router table fence. The fence also has a set of two spacers to match up to your router table fence height. Sled will accommodate material up to 6" wide and 1-1/8" thickness. Features adjustable clamp and handle positions. The large handles are positioned on each side of the workpiece to maintain control and to keep hands away from the spinning router bit.
