Woodworking Rule - 36"

When your projects demand longer layouts and greater measuring capacity, the Woodpeckers 36" Woodworking Rule delivers uncompromising accuracy and control. Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, this premium rule is engineered to remain flat, rigid, and easy to handle, making it ideal for cabinetry, furniture building, and large-panel work.

Laser-engraved scales provide outstanding readability against the signature red anodized finish, while precision manufacturing maintains an accuracy tolerance of ±.004" total accumulated error. Dual 30° beveled edges help minimize parallax error, ensuring reliable measurements from any angle.

One edge features a standard reading scale, while the reverse incorporates a centered scale for quickly locating centerlines, dividing spaces evenly, and positioning hardware with precision. Machined finger grooves improve comfort during use, and the relieved back design allows the measuring edges to sit flat against the workpiece for consistent results.

Precision-threaded mounting holes on each end allow the use of optional Rule Stop and Hook Stop accessories (sold separately), expanding the rule's functionality for repetitive layout and production work. A protective sleeved hanger is included for convenient storage and quick access.

Like all Woodpeckers tools, the Woodworking Rule is precisely made and carefully inspected in the Strongsville, Ohio, manufacturing facility, just south of Cleveland.
